To me creativity begins with being aware of the here and now . . . not just to get your ideas, but as a portal to your imagination.

Well put, Lee. Sometimes I feel like we're portals to the universe too. I'm so grateful for the gifts I receive, the ones I can't figure out where they came from, just arrived in my brain. Do you experience that?

Yes, that's a great insight by Naomi Shihab Nye. Being receptive and aware of the world around us each day provides the raw materials that we need to create. Even those silent, mute moments are necessary.

I'm stealing "those silent, mute moments are necessary." I'll give you credit, Julie, always. Thank you. Thank you.
